Rain
Acrylic and permanent marker on canvas. 60х40 cm
It took a year for this work to come together. It started out as a pure experiment: a canvas, some acrylic paint and some net from a hardware store. That made the background. And it seemed enough, complete and self-sufficient. But after a while i saw there could be more.
So I’ve walked around it for several months imagining and trying out various options. Should it be something in graphics? Or even more abstract strokes? Until one day I saw it: it should be a rosette on a splash of solid colour. So here it is.
